Walt Disney VHDs

VHD videodiscs were only released in Japan during the 80's.  The discs are enclosed in a plastic caddy, similar to CED videodiscs from the U.S.  The player uses a needle to play the disc.  However, the discs have no grooves, so skipping is not as much of a problem.  In some instances, VHD discs have better quality than the laserdiscs of the same time period.  As with all formats, there are some titles that are only available on VHD.  Most of these titles are not available on CED.
